Brain Ramblings From Sandra R Neeley!

Hello!

Happy July my reading friends!

BRUTAL, VARIANT - 5 is live, peoples!

I had so much fun writing Brutal's story. It was a wild ride, and he just kept talking, and talking, and talking. This one is filled with action, adventure, danger, heartbreak, angst, romance, and revenge. Revenge is always a good thing to throw into an dangerous angsty romance.

If you don't know about Brutal or the rest of the Variant, they are former elite military, who underwent genetic manipulation against their will. They're no longer human, and lean toward the predator side of things when triggered. Well, the idiot who created them... he sends a team of Variant males who haven't yet been freed to steal Brutal's mate. It does not end well. Anyway, it's live now, on Amazon for purchase as an ebook, paperback, or to be read on KU. There are warnings all over this one, people, just like with all the rest of the Variant series. Though, only the first one is really that extreme - had to build the world, ya know?

In other news, I'm writing, collaborating, and I need six more hands and three more laptops to write all the stories flowing in my head at the same time. Go take a look at my website at the Updates page and you'll see all the new items listed there. I cannot wait to share these stories with you.

But for now, here's Brutal's link, https://www.amazon.com/Brutal-Variant-Genetic-Manipulation-Romance-ebook/dp/B0B5YGKQRG.

And here's a little excerpt of Brutal to wet your appetite.

Brutal rubbed his face, scratched at the scruff on his jaw, and breathed out a deep breath. “You should finish eating, and get some rest. I have a few things to check on over at the security building,” he said. He stood up and pushed his chair back in.

“I thought…” she said, standing as well.

“What?” he asked, stopping as he walked across the room to look back at her.

“I just… you came for me. You held me like you were afraid if you let go I’d disappear. I just, I thought…”

“I will always come for you, Ginny. Always. I thought I was dying while I ran through that building searching for you. No matter where I looked, you weren’t there and I was fucking dying inside. Then finally, you were standing in front of me, and I couldn’t let you go. I could finally breathe again.”

“What changed since then?” she asked on a whisper.

Brutal shook his head as he thought about it. “Nothing,” he finally said. “I just don’t like feeling like I’m not worth enough to take a chance on, like I’m disposable unless I fit easily into the situation — whatever situation it might be — so I’m not going to feel it again. You’re here, you’re safe. Nobody is ever going to hurt you again; I give you my word on that. But nobody’s going to hurt me again, either.”

That's about it for now. Hope everyone out there is happy and healthy and doing all the things they love to do.

More to come soon.
