It's been a while!

Hello, my dear reader friends. It has certainly been a while since I logged in to add to my blog. That's because life happens. And for me, fiction happens as well. When I'm writing, it's difficult for me to step out of whatever world I'm creating and deal with reality until my work day is finished. And when the work day is finished, I've got the child, and all the critters, and the husband standing in line waiting for attention. Unfortunately, the blog hasn't made it into that line before my brain checks out and I'm ready for bed.

But I'm going to try to do better. I tend to send emails only when I have a new release to tell you about, because I hate nothing more than emails every single week covering information that could have been covered in the previous three emails I also received that month. My inbox gets so flooded that I end up unsubscribing from repetitive emails. They keep me from seeing the things I really want to know about, which is new releases, or contests that I might have a chance to win. So, as much as I've tried and planned to upgrade my email game, I just can't do it to you. So, in comes the blog. On the blog I can tell you what I'm working on. I can tell you what I'm doing. I can tell you what I ate for breakfast if that kind of thing interests you. I can even give you recipes, share snippets of books, and if I can figure out how the heck to make it work, I can even run contests for giveaways of signed books, gift cards, swag, and whatever else I can manage to think of. If I can figure it out. But it won't crowd your inbox. Instead, it will be sitting here, waiting for you to click on it, if you have a desire to know what my brain ramblings are for that particular point in time. If not, just don't log in - no problem.

That is how the blog has won out. I will try to log into my blog page more often than I send emails and just leave a little... this is what I'm working on, this is what I'm doing. And if you get the chance, please feel free to answer - leave me a message, drop me an email. I enjoy interacting with my readers. It keeps me pumped and motivated as I wonder with every word I type if anyone is going to read it when I'm done.

Anyway, that's what I'm thinking. So, welcome to the blog, featuring brain ramblings of Sandra R Neeley. (And, yeah, I'm not editing the brain ramblings, so if you're so inclined to edit it, feel free, it won't hurt my feelings because I know I didn't edit it to begin with.)

More to come soon.
